Independent intelligence
for a legible press.

Mission

Make the record legible.

MAP was founded on the belief that the observable information environment around news — its origin, attribution, framing, and context — should be documented, not left to reputation alone.

Approach

Context-record verification.

Each MAP Verified™ context record documents seven observable dimensions of a piece of content — Origin, Attribution, Specificity, Timing, Framing, Context Change, and Information Relationships. Each record is written to MAP’s append-oriented ledger. Hashed entries are chained; older entries that have no hash are not part of the chain, and continuity is MAP’s own daily report.

Independence

Advertising stays separate.

Advertising does not influence Media Alert Press editorial coverage, MAP context records, publisher certification, or methodology. Commercial relationships remain operationally separate from editorial and verification processes. Context records follow the same automated observation process and are recorded on MAP’s append-oriented ledger.

What we build

One information ecosystem.

Media Alert Press captures and organizes information. MAP Intelligence connects reporting across subject areas. MAP Verified documents the observable context around individual URLs. MAPIOS matches customer-defined organizations, markets and topics against public news sources when you run a scan, and lists matches with source, date and the matching term.

Media Alert Press — current information and publishing.

MAP Intelligence — subject-area discovery and context.

MAP Verified™ — URL-level observable context records. Publishers earn MAP Certification through a transparent review process, not a numeric threshold. No publisher has been certified yet.

MAPIOS — customer-defined keyword monitoring of public news sources.
