These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website, platform, and API operated by Media Alert Press at mediaalertpress.com. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Services

You may use our Services for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: access the Services in violation of applicable law; reproduce or distribute MAP content without permission; use automated tools to scrape content without API authorization; misrepresent MAP Verified™ signal outputs as editorial conclusions; attempt to circumvent security measures; or interfere with the Services.

2. Accounts and Subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase for annual plans; monthly plans are not refunded for partial periods. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. API Usage

API keys may not be shared, sublicensed, or embedded in publicly accessible client-side code. MAP signal outputs are provided for informational purposes only — they are not editorial conclusions or factual verdicts. You agree not to present MAP API outputs as factual accuracy determinations.

4. Intellectual Property

All MAP editorial content, platform tools, trademarks, and branding — including MAP Verified™ and MAP Context™ — are owned by Media Alert Press. You may share links and quote brief excerpts (up to 50 words) with attribution. Systematic reproduction or unauthorized commercial use is prohibited.

5. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. MAP Verified™ signal profiles are informational tools, not factual accuracy certifications. Users are responsible for their own assessment of information.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. Changes to Terms

Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
