Yes — and Google remains useful when you know what you're looking for. MAPIOS is being built for a different problem: monitoring the subjects you've already determined matter, so relevant external information can be surfaced even before you know which specific search you would have needed to perform. Today that means keyword scans you start from the Monitoring Console; automatic scheduled scanning is Planned.

You enter organizations, markets, and topics in the Monitoring Console, you start a scan, and MAPIOS lists matching items from public news sources with the source, the date, and the term that matched. Everything marked Planned on this page, including multiple users and roles, shared team views, routing, saved items, scheduled summaries, reporting, context and relationship views, integrations, and support commitments, is not available yet. It is listed to show where MAPIOS is headed, not what a subscription includes today.
Intelligence
Enter the organizations, markets, and topics you care about. MAPIOS matches those terms against public news sources and lists the matches with their source, so you can investigate developments without starting every research cycle from zero.
Professional
Planned: a shared intelligence environment for your team. Today, Professional runs the same keyword-based monitoring as Intelligence, with onboarding arranged by email after checkout. Shared team access is not live yet.
Business
Planned: a shared environment that routes the same information to different departments. None of the Business capabilities listed below are live yet; Business is currently a conversation about scope, not a product you can switch on.
Enterprise
Scoped through discovery with us. The capabilities Enterprise may include (listed below) are Planned; they are not live today.
Institutional
Planned: governed deployments for organizations with advanced security, integration, and audit requirements. Not available today; scoped individually if you contact us.
Business and Institutional are defined by deployment complexity, not industry — a university or government office may fit either, depending on how many teams need access and what governance the deployment requires.

Why monitoring is repeated, not one-time research
The companies, markets, policies, competitors, and developments your organization cares about don't stop changing after one report. Today MAPIOS matches the keywords you define against public news sources each time a scan is run, and lists the matches with their source, date, and matching term. Keeping a saved history and organizing information around your priorities over time are Planned and are not included yet.
What the price covers today
The alternative to MAPIOS may be repeated employee searches and manual monitoring of several news sources. Today MAPIOS takes over part of that work: when you run a scan it matches your keywords against public news sources and lists what it finds. Whether that is worth $2,500 a month depends on how much manual searching it saves your team. The context, history, and relationship layer is Planned and is not part of what you get today.
MAPIOS surfaces information. Your organization makes the judgment.
MAPIOS is designed to organize observable external information, supporting context, relationships and history around customer-defined priorities. It does not automatically make a source, company, executive, publisher, or event "good," "bad," "credible," "unreliable," "safe," or "unsafe." The underlying information remains available for human investigation.

- Today: keyword-based monitoring. You define organizations, markets, and topics; you run scans from the Monitoring Console; MAPIOS lists matching items from public news sources with their source and the reason they matched. Onboarding is arranged by email after checkout. Capabilities marked Planned on this page are not included yet.
- Is MAPIOS another search engine?
- No. Search primarily helps when you initiate a query. MAPIOS is built around keyword monitoring of priorities you define, run as scans, and the investigation that follows.
- Does MAPIOS tell me whether information is true?
- No. It surfaces and organizes observable information and supporting context for investigation — the same documentation-not-judgment principle behind MAP Verified.
- Does MAPIOS make decisions for my company?
- No. Your people remain the decision-makers.
- How is Business different from Institutional?
- By deployment complexity, not industry. Business fits multi-department organizations with standard needs; Institutional fits organizations whose procurement, security, or governance requirements shape the deployment itself.
- Is annual billing discounted?
- Yes — Intelligence, Professional, and Business annual pricing each equal ten monthly payments once self-service purchase is enabled.
- Can I cancel, and what's the refund policy?
- Formal written cancellation and refund terms are not published yet. In the meantime, cancellation and refund requests are handled directly — contact us and we'll take care of it.
