What Changed

When MAP observes the same URL more than once, it compares the stored records. This page lists observed differences between repeat MAP observations — headline, author attribution, publish date, referenced domains, presentation and outbound link count — with the observation count and first-observed date for each URL. Most link-count changes come from ads, widgets or navigation rather than from edits to the article, so they are labeled “Link count changed (often ads/widgets)”.

A link is a reference, not an endorsement.
