MAP Intelligence
MAP Intelligence is the umbrella for Media Alert Press’s subject-area reporting hubs. It organizes ongoing news coverage by topic — Sports, Business, Technology, Healthcare, and Entertainment — and pairs that coverage with the same MAP Verified credibility signals used across the rest of the site.
Each hub under MAP Intelligence pulls live articles from a set of category-specific news sources and presents them in a single feed, alongside a rolling list of recent MAP Verified checks for that subject area. A reader following technology news, for example, can see current stories from multiple outlets and check any of them against MAP’s five-signal scoring model — Context, Presentation, References, Visibility, and Comparison — without leaving the page.
MAP Intelligence is not a separate scoring system. It uses the same underlying MAP Verified methodology described in the Trust Center, organized by topic rather than by individual story. This makes it useful for readers who follow a specific subject closely, and for researchers who want to observe credibility signals across a body of coverage rather than one article at a time.
The five hubs below are updated on a continuous basis as new coverage is published. Coverage volume and source mix vary by category and are not curated for editorial position — MAP Intelligence surfaces what is being published and what signals are available for it, and leaves interpretation to the reader.
Sourcing for each hub is drawn from a fixed set of outlets per category, listed on the relevant hub page, and any story from those sources can be checked individually through MAP Verified. As MAP adds coverage of additional subject areas, they will appear here rather than as standalone, disconnected sections of the site — MAP Intelligence is intended to be the single index for category-level reporting going forward.
