Ownership
Media Alert Press LLC owns and operates MAP. Any outside investors or material financial relationships that could influence editorial decisions will be named on this page if and when they exist.
Revenue
MAP’s revenue comes from subscriptions, API licensing, and advertising sold directly (see Advertise).
Methodology
Our context intelligence methodology and the seven observable dimensions we document — Origin, Attribution, Specificity, Timing, Framing, Context Change, and Information Relationships — are published publicly. Material changes are listed, with dates, in the Methodology Version section.
AI use
Where MAP uses AI tools in its editorial or verification processes, this is disclosed. See our AI Disclosure Policy.
Data sources
Each context dimension is derived from the fetched page itself — its metadata, structured data, body text and links. The news feeds MAP monitors are listed on each intelligence page.
Ledger
The Verification Archive and the public ledger API show the 100 most recent ledger entries. MAP does not yet publish the full ledger.
MAP does not assess, score or rate publishers, so these standards are applied to MAP’s own disclosures. If something on this site does not meet them, tell us.
